WALK ALONE
DAVE THE POET

Take me to the hills, Show me the throne
Among us all, Some will choose, To walk alone
I hear your sound, You keep me warm
If I am going to change my world
I should probably, Start now
Working on where and when, Still don’t know how
Something simple in time, Where I can find the space to be
Open all the doors, Unwrap the real me
When it’s time to venture forward, Let the wheels roll
Focus on direction, Prepare to lose control
The beauty of landing, Is not the end of the road
It was time to change direction, The universe just let you know
Angels or devils, Sometimes hard to tell
The darkest coldest soul, Still melts at the gates of hell
As you wander, Always feel at home
If you love yourself
The nights might be cold
But you are never alone
